A native of Bocaue, BUlacan, Bryan's initial interest lie in dancing, not singing. As a young kid, he would often join school competitions that involved dancing. He only discovered that he had a natural talent for singing, when he was in highschool. When he was in college, studying nursing, he decided to try his luck out as a contestant in GMA 7's Pinoy Pop Superstar Year 3, in 2007. He emerged as the contests' first runner up. Bryan also made waves at the recently held World Championship of the Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Los Angeles, California by bagging the Silver Medal for the original composition "YOu", another Silver Meda for the rock song "Vehicle" and a Bronze Medal for an R&B song he rendered.Since his transfer to the Kapamilya network, his songs Bihag and Paano Nangyari has been used as songs in top rating seryes such as 100 days to Heaven.
