Gab was born into the sbowbiz limelight, being the second son of the country's one and only Mr. PUre Energy, Gary Valenciano.He started showing interest in music at a very early age, learning instruments such as the piano, guitar and the drums.He performed alongside his father, during concerts and out of town performances.He began carving a name for himself, when he became the champion of Shall We Dance in tv5. He also became part of ASAP's Supahdance group,performing breath taking and showstopping dance moves with John Prats, Rayver Cruz and Mickey Perz. Aside from dancing, Gab also dabbles in producing his own arrangement and choreography. In 2010, Gab, along with brother Paolo, Zia Quizon, Karylle Robin Nievera, Isabella and Duncan Ramos,teamed up in the historic recording of "One Voice-Stand Up" which was the official theme song of United Nations’ worldwide campaign to end hunger. Its music video was shown globally with rave reviews. It is currently the theme song for Southeast Asian efforts of the United Nations. In 2010, he also became a regular in the kapamilya gag show, Bananasplit.
