The son of Side-A bassist, Joey Benin. He was part of the Star Circle batch that starred in the now defunct remake of the youth oriented show "Gimik." He was also launched alongside Nel GOmez, YOung JV and Sam Concepcion as part of ASAP's boygroup, A-POP. He also became part of Friendsthurs group in ABS CBN's defunct youth oriented musical variety show SHoutout! In March 2011, Jaco finally released his debut solo album, Ako Naman.
